Martyn is a senior leader in the work, health & safety profession, operating globally.

 

Formerly Chief Executive of SafeWork SA and WHS Regulator for South Australia, he is an accomplished senior executive and conference speaker who was also;

 

  • Secretary-General of the International Association of Labour Inspection, the global professional body of over 100 Labour and Safety Regulators.

  • Board Member for Safe Work Australia, representing South Australia.

  • Chair of the Heads of Workplace Safety Authorities for Australia and New Zealand, the collective community of all Heads of WHS Regulators.

  • Core Member of the Australian Sex Discrimination Commissioner’s Respect@Work Council. 

 

Martyn now sits as;

  • Inaugural Chair of the Expert Advisory Board of the Australian National Psychosocial Safety Network.

  • One of three Global Technical Advisors to the International Association of Labour Inspection.

  • Board Member for the South Australian Education Standards Board, Regulator of early childhood education.

  • Independent Board Member of SA Power Networks WHS Sub Committee.

  • Strategic partner with Rely.

  • Strategic partner with Skodel.

Martyn is currently consulting globally, helping workers and organisations develop psychosocially safe workplaces with a focus on eliminating serious injuries & fatilaites through critical control management and visible safety leadership.
